A Woman Allegedly Kidnapped in Broad Daylight Outside SP Office.

Sangeeta, a 22 year old woman visiting SP office was kidnapped right outside SP office in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. She was about to request for police protection at the SP office.

The incident reported is from the Collectorate complex which is 50 meters from SP office and bungalow. This is the most secured zone in the city. According to the eye witness, she was forcefully in the black Scorpio SUV.

Police tried to stop the vehicle and nearly got hit. 

Sangeeta had visited to file a request for police protection due to threats from her parental family because she entered into court marriage and living with her husband against her family’s wishes.

After the abduction, the police immediately established road blocks across the district and started a quick search operation. Three relatives including her father and two uncles have been arrested so far and the Black SUV is seized. The driver is yet to be found.

Sangeeta was located in the Kotdi police station area within hours and safely rescued by police. She was recovered unharmed and taken into custody for questioning. 

The incident has alarmed the public and raised concerns about the security in the most protected area.
